Background
Gabriel is a brute, plain and simple, only good for crushing skulls. Pretty egotistical and cruel to top that. Pretty stupid, ill at ease with words, he was pretty ill-considered, and lived a miserable life, being only called upon when brute force was needed. A common thug.
That is, until, 5 years ago, Dimir Taar picked him, amongst all people, to be his Shield Grog. This won him Gabriel's Undying Loyalty. Since then, Gabriel has strived to serve his master to the best of his abilities, making up in tenacity, loyalty and hard work what he lacks in brains.
Little does he suspect that is exactly what Dimir Taar wanted from him by draging him from the mud: A man so loyal that he'd lay his life on a single word from his master.
