Gifted Among the Masses
InVi 65 Ritual
R: Arcane Connection, D: Concentration, T: Boundary
Invented by Solomon of Guernicus, this ritual allows the magus to detect Gifted individuals within a bounded area (typically a city, village, or town) that he has an arcane connection to. The magus learns the number of Gifted individuals within the boundary, as well as their approximate location in relation to the arcane connection (for example, 1 Gifted individual 200 feet northwest of the arcane connection).
The ritual was designed to be used in conjunction with a more precise means of detection (for example Sight of the Lazy Parens) once the Gifted population and general locations have been identified. In order to ensure no violation of the Code, it is highly recommended to cast this spell with no penetration.

Find the Tainted Soul
InVi 65 Ritual
R: Arcane Connection, D: Concentration, T: Boundary
Accidentally invented by Solomon of Guernicus while experimenting to develop his spell Gifted Among the Masses, this ritual allows the magus to detect infernalists within a bounded area (typically a city, village, or town) that he has an arcane connection to. The magus learns the number of individuals within the boundary with virtues aligned with the Infernal Realm, what each of those virtues is, as well each infernalists’ approximate location in relation to the arcane connection (for example, 1 Gifted individual 200 feet northwest of the arcane connection).
In order to ensure no violation of the Code, it is highly recommended to cast this spell with no penetration.
(Base 10, +4 AC, +1 Conc, +4 Boundary, +2 Details, Increased Potency due to experimentation)

Coerce the Spirit of Magic
ReVi 20
R: Voice, D: Conc, T: Ind
Makes a magical spirit obey the caster as long as she can coerce it with threats. The more lurid and dramatic her threats, the more cooperative the spirit is. If the spell penetrates the spirit’s Magic Resistance, make a stress roll of Com + Leadership to see how effective the maga’s threats are. The storyguide should always give a bonus or penalty depending on the potency of the threats, but note that any roll other than a botch compels at least minimal obedience, while increasing rolls indicate a more cooperative spirit.
